BIRDS NEST
Ingredients
¼ cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Mix together 1st three ingredients and then add remainder
- Roll into balls and dip in slighty beaten egg white and roll in chopped nuts or coconut
- Place on a greased cookie sheet and press centre of each.
- Bake in slow oven of 350° for about five minutes.
- Remove from oven and repress centre and add jam or jelly.
- Bake for about 10 minutes more
