Merry Christmas
Every Christmas for many years now, my wife has invited three of her friends to our house for dinner, some good ole gossip, quilting and other crafts. But most important of all, a cookie exchange. But here's the catch: Who prepares the dinner? - me. Who bakes the cookies - you guessed it, me. Now I like to bake, so it's really no big deal, except it's getting bigger every year. This year we have 19 different varieties of cookies available for exchange. It would have been twenty except I can't remember the name of one of the cookie batches. Life sucks and then you get old - but it beats the alternative
Here now are this year's offerings:
- Almond Crescent Dips
- Belgian Cookies
- Black Forest Cookies
- Butter Cookies
- Cappuccino Cookies
- Cashew Surprise
- Cherry Bars
- Chocolate Cherry Tea Drops
- Chocolate - Oat Fudge
- Christmas Cookies
- Frosted Sugar Cookies
- Nanaimo or Miracle Bars
- No Cook Cookies
- Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Peppermint Swirls
- Rosemary Honey Shortbread
- Shortbread
- Sugar and Spice Cookies
- Whipped Shortbread
