Lower Carb Recipes

My wife and I recently have been trying the Atkins high-protein, low-Carbohydrate diet plan. Some of these recipes are taken from his and other books (sources noted). Other recipes are some of our favorites converted to be lower in carbohydrates. Where the carbohydrate value is known, it is listed. However, we do not have the facilities to calculate such data for our own recipes. For this reason, we call these recipes "Lower Carb" recipes and not "Low Carb". As part of this diet plan, "Low fat" ingredients are NOT used. In general, low fat foods contain more carbs than the "regular" version. This diet plan ignores fat content and de-stresses calorie counting, although you must still control your calorie intake if you wish to lose weight.
