Corn Fritters
Ingredients
½ cups flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
kernels from 1 ear of corn (cooked)
1 tsp baking powder (optional)
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together until well moistened
- Fry in hot griddle until browned on each side
- Serve with syrup
Notes
- For fluffy fritters use self-rising flour or baking powder
- Microwave an ear of corn until cooked, then slice off kernels
