Cayenne Cheeses


1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 tsp. salt
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/3 tsp. of cayenne


Cut butter into flour.
Add grated cheese, cayenne and salt.
Mix well.
Moisten with sufficient water to make the whole into a paste.
Roll out and cut into fingers about 4 inches long (or circles).
Bake at 350°F for 12 - 15 minutes.
Serve hot (best).
NOTES: Use more cayenne if you prefer spicy. For milder biscuit use less cayenne or 1/4 - 1/3 black pepper.
