Rice Krispies Squares
Ingredients
1 250g pkg regular marshmallows (about 40)
½ tsp (2mL) vanilla extract
6 cups (1.5L) Rice Krispies cereal
Directions
- Melt margarine/butter in large saucepan over low heat
- Add marshmallows, stirring constantly until melted and well blended
- Remove from heat
- Stir in Vanilla, add cereal stirring until coated
- With a lightly buttered spatula, press mixture into a buttered 13x9" (3.5L) pan
- Cool and cut into squares. Yields 24 2 inch(5cm) bars
