Creamsicle Dessert
Ingredients
1 cup (250 mL)Graham cracker crumbs
1 Tbsp. (15 mL) granulated sugar
1 package (3 oz. / 85 g) orange-flavored gelatin (Jell-o)
1 cup (250 mL) boiling water
1 Tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice
2 cups (500 mL) Vanilla Ice Cream
Directions
- Melt butter and mix thoproughly with crumbs and sugar
- Reserve 3 Tbsp and spread remainder in bottom of a 8 x 8 inch pan. Press firmly. <
- Set aside
Filling
- Combine jelly powder and boiling water in a medium bowl. Stir until jelly powder is dissolved
- Add lemon juice and ice cream. Stir until smooth.
- Pour over crust.
- Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over top.
- Chill overnight or until firm.
Notes:
- Cuts into 9 pieces.
