Springtime Lemon Dessert
Ingredients
1½ cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans
2 Tbsp white granulated sugar
8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 large carton Cool Whip (divided)
1 cup icing sugar
1 large package lemon pie filling (not instant)
Directions
- Mix together butter, flour, pecans and granulated sugar and press into 9" x 13" pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool
Layer 2
- Beat cream cheese and icing sugar
- Fold in ½ of the Cool Whip
- Spread on the base
Layer 3
- Prepare the lemon filling as described on package
- Allow to cool
- Spread over layer 2
Layer 4
- Spread remaining Cool Whip over layer 3
- Refrigerate until ready to serve
