Strawberry Angel Food


2 - 3oz. pkg strawberry Jello
2 Tbsp sweetner
pinch of salt
1 cup of strawberries
½ - 10" Angel Food Cake (torn into pieces)
1 small tub of Cool-whip


  1. Dissolve gelatin in 2½ cups boiling water

  2. Stir in thawed(if you use frozen) strawberries, sweetner and salt

  3. Cool until it begins to thicken

  4. Fold in whipped topping

  5. Cover bottom of pan with ½ of the cake pieces

  6. Pour over ½ of the strawberry mixture

  7. Spread remaining cake pieces in pan followed by remaining strawberry mixture

  8. Refrigerate 4 or 5 hours until fully jelled

  9. Garnish with more whipped topping and strawberries on top

  10. Cut into squares or spoon
