Simple Waffles


1¼ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
1¼ cups milk
4 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 egg yolks, well beaten
2 egg whites


  1. Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar

  2. Combine milk vegetable oil and egg yolks

  3. Add to dry ingredients and stir only until blended.

  4. Beat egg whites stiff but not dry and fold into batter

  5. Cook on hot waffle iron
